Controllers – Communication nodes
Communication and lighting control modules
The wireless communication node is an electronic box that provides a bi-directional communication to exchange data between a luminaire and a gateway.
- The wireless communication node is an electronic box that provides a bi-directional communication to exchange data between a luminaire and a gateway.
- In the other case, it provides information from the luminaire (power, consumption, deficiency, ….) to the gateway which will transmit it to the central platform.
It then allows luminaires to communicate with each other. It thus brings “intelligence” to the luminaire by making it capable of processing the information it receives and communicating information to the gateways and other luminaires in the network.
The Sirius solution is:
- Simple: each luminaire is a bi-directional communication node, the operating parameters can be changed at any time by the network administrators
- Reliable: the network is decentralized, self-configuring, self-organizing,
- Efficient and scalable: the network can be extended and enriched by a multitude of communicating objects
- Economical : repeater, router and subscription to an IoT operator are unnecessary
- Secure : an OTA device allows the software embedded in the luminaires to be updated remotely,
